It is no wonder that Congress is sinking ever lower in the eyes of the voters. The article by Edwin Chen and Douglas Frantz reveals the hypocrisy and arrogance that many of our elected representatives exhibit. While merrily port-barreling millions of dollars, they profess to be reducing the deficit and cutting spending.
We voters who are not lobbyists or large campaign donors need a freeze in spending, a line-item veto and better representation before this entire country is bankrupt!
