A roadside duel between two irate motorists who pulled their vehicles off Interstate 5 ended with one man being stabbed repeatedly, authorities said.
Bradley Steele, 29, was listed in good condition late Sunday at Scripps Memorial Hospital in La Jolla, a hospital spokesman said. The injured man’s address was not available.
Police Sgt. Charles Kindred said Steele was driving north on I-5 about 1:45 p.m. Sunday when he and another driver began yelling at one another about erratic driving. The two men pulled off the freeway near the Via de la Valle exit and a fight ensued.
Steel was stabbed three times before the man he was fighting with fled, Kindred said.
