NEWPORT BEACH : Conservancy Group Is Meeting’s Topic

The Newport Beach Conservancy, a newly formed agency hoping to preserve open space and natural resources, will be the topic at the Wednesday meeting of Speak Up Newport.
Councilwoman Jean H. Watt, one of the conservancy’s founders, is the guest speaker and will introduce the board of directors. Speak Up Newport is a community group which meets monthly to discuss issues of importance to Newport Beach residents.
The meeting will be held at Villa Nova restaurant, 3131 W. Coast Highway, at 5:30 p.m.
