Christian d. Calipatria, 15-5, 15-8, 15-5--Becky Johnson had 11 kills and Tiffany Stutz added seven for Christian (25-3).

Division V

Parker d. Calvin Christian, 14-16, 17-19, 15-10, 15-13, 15-3--Jill Meier had 13 kills and her twin sister Amy Meier added eight for Parker (12-0). Senior Annetta de Jong led Calvin Christian (15-6) with 23 kills.

Field Hockey

Serra 3, Bishop’s 0--Karrissa Calustro, Kanda Seagraves and Tina Montgomery each scored for top-seeded Serra (16-3). Serra and Mira Mesa will meet in the finals for the third consecutive year, at noon Saturday at San Diegueno Junior High.

Mira Mesa 2, San Marcos 1 OT--Janet Ashworth scored the winning goal for No. 2 Mira Mesa (16-3) five minutes into overtime. With one minute remaining, San Marcos’ Kasey Cooper tied the score, 1-1.

Water Polo

3-A Section Semifinals

Coronado 18, Vista 7--The-seeded Islanders (27-4) got five goals each from seniors Mike Matherne and James Skaalen and advanced to the finals for the fourth consecutive year.

Coronado will play No. 2 Poway, which defeated Monte Vista 11-7, at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the La Jolla Jewish Community Center.
