O, YOSEMITE!

If concessionaires continue to control decision making in the national parks, the next generation will see a monorail ride around the Grand Canyon and a high-rise hotel where Phantom Ranch and mules are today. Imagine a petting zoo in Yellowstone, a shoot-’em-up stagecoach ride at Big Bend and hot tubs at Lassen.

Thanks to Dolan for alerting us about who’s actually controlling Yosemite’s future. Some of us had mistakenly thought it was people who loved the place.
