State officials won’t discuss an investigation into possible criminal activity involving complimentary University of Nevada Las Vegas basketball tickets.
Attorney General Brian McKay, whose office is leading the investigation, has declined to discuss details of the case.
An internal investigation by the university showed that about 6,000 complimentary tickets distributed during the 1989-90 season could not be accounted for. The tickets were worth about $300,000.
