Fountain Valley police have arrested four Long Beach teen-agers suspected of robbing a Fountain Valley woman and her daughter as they returned home on Christmas.
The woman, whose name was withheld, told police that four males stopped her and her daughter as they approached their home in the 10600 block of La Bahia Avenue.
The suspects took a necklace and other items, leaving in a Toyota Cressida, police said.
Officer Ray Rakitis observed the suspects’ vehicle near Euclid Street and Edinger Avenue and ordered the driver to stop at Edinger and Brookhurst Street, police said.
After pulling the car over, the officer found jewelry and three loaded handguns, one of which had been reported stolen in Riverside County, according to Rakitis.
The youths were booked on robbery charges, police said. Cheng Hak Sok, 18, was taken to Orange County Jail, while the other three suspects, ages 15, 16 and 17, were being held at Juvenile Hall.
Two of the juveniles were on probation in connection with a drive-by shooting in Los Angeles County, police said.
