Jamison Expected to Join Angels’ Radio

Bob Jamison, who did play-by-play for triple-A Nashville last season, reportedly will be named to the Angels’ radio broadcast team this week.
An Angel spokesman said no decision has been made, but said Jamison is among the finalists for the job. The opening developed when Ken Brett moved from the radio booth to television after the departure of analyst Reggie Jackson.
The new broadcaster, whose hiring will be announced by KMPC, will work with longtime Angel announcer Al Conin.
