Circus Circus Enterprise, Las Vegas, said Richard P. Banis, 46, now chief operating officer, will become chairman and chief executive upon the retirement of William G. Bennett, 66. Bennett will retire in about a year. Glenn Schaeffer, 37, the company’s chief financial officer and treasurer, will become president.
