The trouble with CNN’s coverage of the Gulf War is that it doesn’t have a Peter Arnett in Kuwait City. Remember Kuwait? The same day CNN showed (seemingly endless) coverage of the bombing of a shelter supposedly containing civilians in Baghdad, there were reports of 200 Kuwaitis being killed by Iraqi invaders in the streets of Kuwait. Why not some brave, investigative, honest, balanced reporting on what the Iraqis have done and are doing to Kuwait?
