State Receives Grant: A $1.9-million U.S. Small Business Administration grant will be used to expand training and counseling services provided by 11 of the 16 existing California Small Business Development Centers and to establish five new centers in Los Angeles, Santa Ana, Fresno and south of San Francisco. The matching grant requires that state, local and private sources raise an additional $2.5 million for the program.
