CALLING ON KUWAIT: Rep. Christopher Cox met Tuesday with officials of Fluor Corp., the Irvine firm likely to help rebuild Kuwait. The Newport Beach Republican says other local companies are also interested, and rebuilding the emirate devastated by the Gulf War will mean “more jobs in Orange County.” . . . Cox has also met with Kuwait’s ambassador to the United States.
