C’MON EVERYBODY: His song “Summertime Blues” was one of the early anthems of rock ‘n’ roll, but Eddie Cochran doesn’t get a lot of visitors. Cochran died in a 1960 car accident in England and is buried at Forest Lawn in Cypress. . . . A new book, “The L.A. Musical History Tour,” notes that Cochran’s “beautiful relief-engraved headstone lies flat and attracts little attention.” It also says why: Singer Karen Carpenter’s nearby crypt “overshadows” Cochran’s resting place.
