SHELTERED: AIDS-awareness posters by the controversial New York artists’ collective Gran Fury (F1) may show up in Orange County. . . . Los Angeles’ Museum of Contemporary Art is putting up the posters--which read, “Women Don’t Get AIDS: They Just Die From It”--at 80 bus stops in L.A. County. The museum says that while it had no plans to ship the posters elsewhere, it will run the idea past the artists. The ad firm handling the artwork has about 100 bus-stop shelters in Anaheim and says it sees “no problem” in moving a few posters to that city.
