WE’RE ROLLING: Veteran actor James Earl Jones seems to like the county. His television series, “Gabriel’s Fire,” has shot some scenes in Santa Ana, and he’s due to start filming a movie next month in Placentia. . . . The movie depicts the late Bruce Jennings of Fullerton, who lost a leg in a motorcycle accident but still bicycled across the country in 1976. How did the MRB Group, a small Fullerton-based company that’s never made a motion picture before, get Jones? With “one of the sweetest stories you’ve ever (heard) in your life,” says producer Jack McLean.
