Arcadia : City to Retain Law Firm

The City Council approved a one-year contract to retain Liebert, Cassidy & Frierson of Los Angeles, which has represented Arcadia for the past 13 years.
The firm advises city officials on personnel matters, labor contracts and disputes with city employees.
Effective April 1, the firm will receive a yearly payment of $18,276, a 5% increase from last year. In addition, the firm will get between $115 and $185 an hour for conducting administrative hearings in labor disputes before the city’s Personnel Board.
