From Staff and Wire Reports

An investigative report into an alleged sexual assault in the men’s athletic dormitory at the University of Arkansas has been turned over to a prosecuting attorney in Fayetteville, Ark.

The report was compiled by campus police who worked with the prosecutor’s office on the case. A representative of the prosecutor’s office said copies of the report will be released today.

Earlier, Arkansas basketball Coach Nolan Richardson said that Darrell Hawkins, a redshirt for the 1990-91 season, will be suspended for the first three games of the 1991-92 season for having a female in his room at an athletic dormitory during a time when such visits are prohibited.

The suspension grew out of the investigation of a 33-year-old woman’s claim that she was sexually assaulted in the men’s dorm on Feb. 27.
