The City Council on Tuesday approved an agreement for a threei-cities transportation study that will look at new programs to solve traffic problems in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles and West Hollywood.
The consultants, Kaku Associates and Korve Engineering Inc., have been selected to conduct the study, which will use population and employment data projections for the year 2000. The study will also use a computerized travel-forecasting model to project levels of service at intersections in the three cities.
The cost of the study is $205,000. Beverly Hills will pay $85,000 as its share.
