Santa Monica : Rent Board Plans Meeting
As part of a recent effort to get more of the city’s Latino community involved, the Rent Control Board will hold a special meeting today at 7:30 p.m. at the Virginia Park Community Center, 2200 Virginia Ave.
Spanish translators will be available at the informal meeting, where board members and staff will discuss rent control and other housing issues.
Virginia Park is in the heart of the Pico neighborhood, where the majority of the city’s Latino population lives.
Child care and refreshments will also be provided at the meeting.
