Tollways Poll Was Flawed

I seriously question the validity of your recent poll covering Orange County tollways (“Majority Goes Along With Tollway Plans,” Feb. 24).
This is a complex subject and it requires public education as to the pros and cons of the tollways before a legitimate poll can be done.
Normally this is the role the Los Angeles Times has performed very well; however, in this case, it appears you just jumped in and measured first impressions of faster commutes without the repercussions the tollway would bring.
