James G. O’Connor was named president of Pratt & Whitney, the aircraft engine unit of United Technologies. O’Connor succeeds Arthur E. Wegner, who continues as United Technologies’ executive vice president and president aerospace/defense. O’Connor reports to Wegner.
O’Connor will be responsible for all of the aircraft engine manufacturer’s commercial, government and general aviation operations.
