President’s Crime Bill

The Bush Administration wants major a “crime bill” (reduction of civil rights bill) passed in 100 days or less and somehow likens this to “winning” a war in 100 hours. Will our legislators really be unpatriotic if they debate the merits and demerits of this bill? We elected them to make educated decisions. We expect them to take adequate time to understand all the wording in legislation on which they are voting.
