Ghost Sightings: Paramount Home Video announced that it has sold 645,000 copies of “Ghost” to video retailers and distributors--a record for sales of a title geared to the rental market. The previous record-holder was CBS-Fox’s “Die Hard 2,” which sold 510,000 units in January. “Ghost’s” record is particularly surprising since many retailers said they would buy fewer rental copies to protest the cassette’s high price.
