The Dance Goes On: There was good news Sunday for the financially strapped Pennsylvania Ballet: At least $1.2 million has been raised to ensure its immediate survival. The board of trustees was going to suspend operations March 11, but the 200 dancers and staff have performed without pay for the last two weeks while appealing for donations. “I think we’ll be fine,” said Christopher d’Amboise, artistic director of the 27-year-old company. The troupe’s operating budget is $8.5 million annually.
