San Diego police have arrested three people in connection with the Aug. 4 shooting of Robert Barr, a 13-year veteran of the Huntington Beach Police Department, who was wounded while off duty during a robbery at a San Diego motel.
Police said Monday that Tommy Joe Gamble, 23; Soloman Emanuel James, 19, and a 17-year-old were charged last week with attempted murder. All three have also been charged with armed robberies in San Diego and three armed robberies in Blythe, police said.
Police said Gamble and James were arrested last week, and the juvenile was arrested in February.
