U.S. to Consider NHL Players

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The Associated Press reported erroneously Tuesday that NHL players would not be used in selecting the 1992 U.S. Olympic hockey team.

In fact, Olympic hockey Coach Dave Peterson said he would make use of any NHL players available but that he did not expect many to meet that criterion because of conflicts with their professional teams’ season schedule.
