BEAM ME UP! A two-man Stanton marketing firm has started a 900-number telephone service for UFO buffs willing to pay $2 a minute per call. . . . Creator Dan Stingley says he collects information from various groups studying unidentified flying objects, “particularly ones that have real reliable, credible types of stories.” . . . The UFO line’s debut deals with the section of remote Nevada that the Air Force calls Area 51. Buffs say flying saucers are often visible there, especially on Wednesdays.
