The Tide Comes In: The eagerly anticipated Barbra Streisand-Nick Nolte movie, “The Prince of Tides,” will be released at Christmas, the Columbia announced Friday. The film, based on Pat Conroy’s best-selling novel, is directed by Streisand. Industry buzz is that the release date for the project was initially set for fall, but the studio decided to hold off for a big Christmas-time release.
