Hardship Rules Issued for Policyholders: Policyholders of Mutual Benefit Life Insurance Co., seized this week by state regulators, may be eligible for emergency withdrawals from their policies, a New Jersey official said. Insurance Commissioner Samuel F. Fortunato said the Newark-based company may provide relief to policyholders who are experiencing financial hardships.
