School board members began the first phase of the Glendale Schools 2000 Strategic Plan, which includes 52 education enhancement projects.
The first phase of the plan covers the 1991-1992 academic year. Projects range from developing a code of ethics for school district employees to publishing a pamphlet that defines educational acronyms and school jargon for parents.
Board members cautioned that many of the projects are contingent on corporate funding. “This plan is non-binding for future boards if resources are not available,” board member Charles Whitesell said.
