Imperial Beach Man Dies in I-15 Crash

A 32-year-old Imperial Beach man was killed just before noon Saturday when his car and another vehicle collided on Interstate 15 near California 94, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The victim was identified by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s office as David Goodman, a dairy delivery driver who was on his way home from work.
A CHP spokesman said another vehicle entered southbound I-15 at 94 and drove into the path of Goodman’s vehicle. Goodman’s car struck the first vehicle and rolled over and Goodman, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected, the spokesman said.
Goodman was airlifted by LifeFlight to UC San Diego Medical Center, where he died.
