Ventura County sheriff’s deputies arrested a 21-year-old Oak Park man early Saturday in connection with the stabbing of a 16-year-old boy at a party in a condominium complex, police said.
The unidentified victim, also of Oak Park, was in critical condition Saturday after undergoing surgery at Westlake Hospital, a Ventura County Sheriff’s Department spokesman said.
Phili Holsborg was arrested at his home several hours after the incident, the spokesman said. Holsborg is suspected of striking the victim several times with a baseball bat and then stabbing him with a knife in the right groin area, the spokesman said.
The stabbing occurred at about 11:20 p.m. Friday during a loud party at a condominium complex on North Oak Hills Drive near Avenue Soledad.
