It’s Normal There

Jerry Hulse says that the autobahns attract the macho types. Is he not being “macho” when he says that he was “tooling around on the autobahn at 100 m.p.h.” and enjoying “the challenge of the open road.” He adds a little note of fear by advising those who are uneasy to take a train.
There is no reason why anyone should be uneasy about driving in Europe. If one obeys the rules and uses common sense it should be an enjoyable experience.
