A touring exhibit of Ansel Adams photographs, taken from the “Fiat Lux” and “The Museum Set” collections, will be on display at UCLA’s Ackerman Student Union beginning tomorrow and running through Oct. 18.
“Fiat Lux” is a series of works commissioned in 1963 by the UC California president for the university’s centennial. Eight photographs of the UCLA campus, including “Moonrise,” will be featured.
“The Museum Set” is a limited-edition collection chosen by Adams to represent the range of his works. It includes his famous views of Yosemite and the Southwest.
The exhibit is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesdays through Sundays. Admission is free. For information call (213) 825-2311.
