Shocked by Rosenberg

Re: “ ‘Stop the Church’: All Parties Do Their Part,” (Sept. 9):

I didn’t expect this from Howard Rosenberg.

Most of the people where I work were also shocked. Rosenberg, of all people, someone who has always fought against prejudice and Jew-bashing, has now softened to the point that if it is a Catholic Church (being criticized), it’s OK.

I have written to KCET that many of my fellow workers have signed a statement that we were shocked and saddened to have our beloved PBS station turn against the church and its people. I also told them that when their next fund-raiser comes up we shall all say what the late Samuel Goldwyn said: “Include me out.”

It is a church’s and a synagogue’s right to take a stand when their God’s teachings tell them they are in the right.
