COMMUNITY COLLEGE ROUNDUP : Cypress Women Beat L.A. Harbor in Soccer

Noelle Rost scored three goals as Cypress College defeated Los Angeles Harbor, 12-0, in a nonconference women’s soccer game Friday at Cypress.
Stacy Darin and Laurie Wilson each scored twice for Cypress (3-0), which is in its first year of intercollegiate soccer after being a club team last season.
In nonconference men’s soccer:
Fullerton 6, San Bernardino Valley 0--Willie Deguia scored two goals for host Fullerton (5-1-3).
Cypress 1, L.A. Harbor 0--Gabe Giannetti scored for host Cypress (1-6).
In nonconference women’s volleyball:
Saddleback 3, Mt. San Antonio 0--Elaine Kollias had 11 kills for Saddleback (2-1), which won, 16-14, 15-12, 16-14.
In the San Diego Mesa tournament:
Orange Coast advances--The Pirates went 7-1 in four two-game matches to advance to today’s championship round. The Pirates split with Grossmont, 6-15, 15-6, then defeated El Camino, 15-4, 15-9, College of the Sequoias, 15-6, 15-6, and Arizona Mesa, 15-8, 15-10.
