Kissin to Remember
Marvelous! Your reviewer, John Henken, and my wife, Jeanne, and I all saw and heard the same concert Oct. 13 at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion (“Kissin’s Memorable, Forceful L.A. Debut,” Calendar, Oct. 14).
How fortunate we were! I can only feel that there was seating for many more who could have shared in this experience.
Let me just add that the performance of Evgeny Kissin was a true one-time experience. He is all that Henken said and more. Please ask Henken to name the five encores in order for those of us who cannot trust memory.
