Mother Drops Crying Baby From 3rd Floor

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. — A 4-month-old boy was seriously injured after his mother dropped him from a third-floor porch because she could not stand his crying, police said.
The baby suffered broken ribs, bruises and possible internal injuries. He was listed in serious condition Friday at Children’s Hospital in Buffalo. His mother was charged with first-degree assault and was held without bail, police said.
