HIGH SOCIETY: Recession or not, Orange County residents on average are better off than their Southern California neighbors. Annual per-capita income here is almost 20% higher than in Los Angeles County, the next-wealthiest, and average income will soar nearly 30% by 1996, a study predicts. . . . But Chapman University economist Esmael Adibi warns: “The increase will be from people moving into the county to take high-paying jobs, not from big raises for those already here.”
