Fans Get Irish Up About USC
As a USC alumnus and Trojan football fan, I was shocked when I read the USC athletic director’s remarks in Bill Dwyre’s article after the Notre Dame game. The Trojan football program should have taken a “step forward” immediately after the dismal Ted Tollner years. Instead, the last four years have produced no wins over Notre Dame, several squeaky wins over undermanned UCLA teams, a 25% win percentage in bowl games and no bowl invitation this year.
Should we feel good that USC played Notre Dame tough in the second half because we are unranked?
Is the athletic director’s name Mike McGee or Mike McGeek?
