The City Council has given more time to the Task Force on Alcoholic Beverages to make recommendations on the possible relaxation of the city’s 38-year-old prohibition on the sale of alcohol at restaurants.
The task force was scheduled to report to the council Wednesday, but received an extension to January.
The group has been trying to gather opinion on the options of either permitting only beer and wine, or liquor, beer and wine to be served with meals.
The council requested that residents submit written comments to City Hall, 2200 Huntington Drive, San Marino, Calif. 91108, Attention: Task Force on Alcoholic Beverages.
