Nation IN BRIEF : WISCONSIN : 100 Abortion Clinic Protesters Arrested

Nearly 100 anti-abortion demonstrators were arrested during a protest outside a women’s clinic in Milwaukee, police said. Among those arrested when they blocked access to Affiliated Medical Services was a volunteer clinic worker who a woman accused of shoving her 8-year-old son, police said. More than 100 people took part in the protest, and nearly all were arrested, police said. Clinic physician Dennis Christensen said all people intending to visit were admitted. In Texas, eight of about 250 anti-abortion demonstrators were arrested for blocking access to a Dallas clinic, police said. At the height of the protest, about 250 people marched around Routh Street Women’s Clinic.
