Florida State No. 4 in One Poll

Miami’s 17-16 victory over Florida State Saturday lifted the Hurricanes (9-0) to the top spot in the Associated Press and USA Today/CNN coaches’ polls.
They replaced Florida State (10-1), which dropped to third, behind Washington (10-0), in the AP poll and fourth, behind Washington and Michigan (9-1), in the USA Today/CNN poll.
