Four of the 55 members of the marching band at Don Bosco Technical Institute in Rosemead have been chosen to perform in the 1992 Tournament of Roses Honor Band.
The students are Ken Campion of Brea, band president, who plays the baritone horn; Leonard Mabasa of Los Angeles, who plays the clarinet; Alex Musil of Monterey Park, who plays the alto saxophone, and Philip Sutton of San Gabriel, a trumpeter.
The honor band is composed of 270 band members from Pasadena City College and San Gabriel Valley high schools. Each musician was selected after an audition at Pasadena City College. Members of the Bosco Tech band have participated since 1973.
