OUTLOOK
The Flames will be hard-pressed to improve on last season’s last-place finish in the Arrowhead League. Only three players return in guard Marquez, forward Santelli and Blames. Unfortunately, the trio was moved into the starting lineup late in the season, so they don’t bring as much experience as Zylstra, the first-year coach, would like. Zylstra thinks he has two good post-up players in Blames and Santelli, but he’ll only be able to suit up seven varsity players this season. The Flames will have a hard time making a dent against the likes of Calvary Chapel.
