Here are some of the freeway closures Caltrans plans this week.
* IN CERRITOS: All lanes of the eastbound Artesia Freeway (91) at Shoemaker Avenue will be closed at midnight Wednesday and Thursday until 5 a.m. Thursday and Friday for bridge construction. The closure will be repeated at midnight Dec. 9 until 5 a.m. Dec. 10. The suggested detour is to exit south on Bloomfield Avenue, then east on South Street.
* IN CARSON: The Torrance Boulevard off-ramp of the northbound Harbor Freeway (110) will be closed from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday for pavement grinding.
* IN LONG BEACH: The No. 1 lane of the southbound San Diego Freeway (405) from Cherry Avenue to Temple Avenue will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday for wall repair.
* IN LAKEWOOD: The Carson Street off-ramp of the southbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605) will be closed from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday for landscaping.
* IN SANTA FE SPRINGS: The Slauson Avenue off-ramp of the northbound San Gabriel River Freeway (605) will be closed from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday for landscaping.
* IN NORWALK: The No. 4 lane of the southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5) from Orr & Day Road to Imperial Highway, plus the Imperial Highway off-ramp, will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday for landscaping.
* IN NORWALK: The No. 4 lane of the northbound Santa Ana Freeway (5) from Artesia Boulevard to Rosecrans Avenue will be closed from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday for landscaping.
* VARIOUS CITIES: The No. 1 lanes of the northbound and southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5) will be closed from Lakewood Boulevard to Artesia Boulevard from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday for sweeping.
* VARIOUS CITIES: The No. 1 lanes of the northbound and southbound Santa Ana Freeway (5) will be closed from Lakewood Boulevard to Indiana Street from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday for sweeping.
