The fly-by-night operators do pose unfair competition, and do need to be put out of business, but this article attempts to stigmatize the entire profession, a profession whose workers are trained, licensed and regulated by the state.
In a service profession, a job well done is a job that is appealing to the eye, and good hygiene and sanitation are a part of that. We want to make people look good and feel good.
