Capistrano Valley’s Farr Picks Brigham Young

Alisa Farr, a 5-foot-9 guard at Capistrano Valley High School, has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Brigham Young University next season, her father, Dave, said Monday.

Farr averaged 17 points last year and was named to The Times’ All-County second team.

“She’ll probably redshirt the first year because BYU has a couple of guards ahead of her,” Dave Farr said.
