In the Irvine girls’ tournament:
Costa Mesa 62, San Clemente 53--Olivia DiCamilli had 18 points and 11 rebounds for Costa Mesa (3-0) in a championship bracket quarterfinal game at Irvine High. Kristen McOwen had 22 points for San Clemente, which was playing its season opener.
Brea-Olinda 62, Newport Harbor 40--Jody Anton had 12 points and Sarah Beckley 11 as the Ladycats (2-0) won a championship bracket quarterfinal game at Woodbridge. Newport Harbor’s Gina Heads led all scorers with 17 points and Maureen McLaren added 16.
