Merv Will Celebrate: Merv Griffin will be back on TV on New Year’s Eve to host a live special from his Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City. The hourlong syndicated program will be a New Year’s Eve party with dancing and big band music, and will feature performances by the Temptations, among others. Locally, the program has been booked on KCOP-TV Channel 13.
